I haven’t retouched beauty portraits for my portfolio in a long time. Honestly, I wanted to meticulously perfect the photos like before, removing every tiny facial hair and smoothing out all imperfections. But as I started working on these photos, I realized I no longer want to do it that way. Retouching skin naturally feels much more pleasant and beautiful than turning a woman into a porcelain doll. If a client requested it, I could certainly do it, but these photos were retouched for myself, so I did it according to my principles.
